Colombian delegation visits the S2BMRC for an introductory meeting to get to know the Centre and to discuss cooperation opportunities with Ruta N and the Universities in the Medellin region.

Prof. Baaken and Sue Rossano welcomed Adriana Pérez and Clara Conrath-Sanin from Medellin in Münster and introduced the S2BMRC and UIIN. During the meeting cooperation opportunities with Ruta N and the Universities in the Medellin region were discussed.

Adriana Pérez of Ruta N, a Colombian institute fostering innovation, science and technology in the city of Medellin, visited the S2BMRC as part of her working visit in Germany. She is responsible for the Innovacampus programme, which aims to strengthen the technology transfer and innovative capabilities of the regional universities and further to intensify industry collaboration.

The meeting was initiated and organised by the embassy of Colombia in Berlin, Camilo Villa, responsible for Science, Technology and Innovation. The aim was to get to know the fundamentals of innovation management and technology transfer at German universities in general and to discuss cooperation opportunities with the Science-to-Business Marketing Centre, UIIN and the initiative of “Transfer 3.0” of MUAS within the scope of the Innovacampus programme.
