Eva Sormani, MSc
Short bio
Eva is a researcher at the Science-to-Business Marketing Research Centre (S2BMRC) from Münster University of Applied Sciences (MUAS). She is passionate about communication on the crossroads of science and market. From these crossroads, many of the innovative appliances and theories that we know and use today have sprung into existence.
The field of innovation is especially appealing to her because innovation is for a major part defined by human behaviour. For this reason she takes a behavioural research perspective when looking at the knowledge transfer process between science and society.
Eva holds a bachelor’s degree in Pyschobiology from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). Following her bachelor studies, she did a master’s program in Science, Business & Innovation at VU University Amsterdam.
As Eva is from an entrepreneurial family, she holds a hands-on approach an is inclined to actively approach others. Eva carries the Dutch open-mindedness and directness. This might be helpful during her research as that way of acting and thinking will make it easier to form a bridge between the abstract thinking of scientists and the concrete actions that society desires.
